The Design

Inspired Plans came up with a design that allowed them to gain a bigger master bedroom, one that allowed them to get more access to natural lighting due to roof lights being installed. The first step was to survey the property to get the correct measurements for the loft as it required us trying to understand how we would incorporate the stairs that would differ in height from the main house and the back of the house.

The Process

The proposed design made sure to add a matched finish and roof tiles to the conversion. The proposed design ensured that we stayed within the 40 cubic square metre allowed under permitted development. After we had to get a party wall agreement in place due to the fact we had to rebuild the back dormer in order to allow structural stability in the long term.
